Harris Teeter Debuts Latest Signature Sub

qCarolina Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart has teamed with Harris Teeter to introduce Stewart’s personally designed Signature Sub Sandwich. Priced at $3.99, “The Stew-wan-wich” (left) features roasted turkey, Virginia ham, bacon and white American cheese, topped with lettuce, jalapeno peppers, tomatoes, banana peppers and honey mustard, on a wheat sub roll.

Harris Teeter customers can also make the Signature Sub Sandwich a lunch pack for only $4.99. The lunch pack contains “The Stew-wan-wich” half sub; a choice of Harris Teeter Sweet Tea, Unsweet Tea or Lemonade; and a choice of one Chocolate Chunk, Macadamia Nut, Oatmeal Raisin or Cranberry Nut Cookie.

To kick off the new item, which will be available in the Fresh Foods Market Sandwich Shop in all Charlotte, N.C.-area Harris Teeter stores, Stewart will make an appearance at the Morrocroft Village Harris Teeter on Nov. 8 from noon to 1 p.m. to provide sub samples and sign autographs.

The Stew-wan-wich is the grocery chain’s second Signature Sub Sandwich of the season, with additional Signature Sub Sandwiches from other Panthers players to come. Panthers merchandise is also available for customers to buy at the Charlotte-area locations.
