Green Fields Helps 6 Customers ‘Go Green’ For Spring

Easter arrived a week early for six San Antonio residents – instead of receiving Easter baskets stuffed with chocolates, they were given shopping carts and had 60 seconds to grab as many groceries as they could during the Green’s Grocery Grab 60-second shopping sprees held last weekend at Green Fields Market.

The shoppers walked away with more than $3,100 in groceries and gift card prizes. The grand-prize winner, who snagged groceries valued at nearly $840, also received a $100 Green Fields Market gift card for having the highest total. All six winners also received a $100 gift card to be used for the meat section.

From Feb. 10 through March 28, customers who spent a minimum of $25 at Green Fields Market were eligible to win a 60-second shopping spree after filling out a short entry form. Five winners were selected at random on March 29; one surprise winner was chosen about an hour before the shopping sprees kicked off at 1 p.m.

“In celebration of spring, Green Fields Market wants to help its customers ‘go green’ by giving our customers an opportunity to win some green through our Green’s Grocery Grab,” said store director Fred Perez. “We also thought these sprees would make a great Easter gift for several families.”

San Antonio-based Green Fields Market is a family-owned grocery store that offers quality natural and healthy foods at reasonable prices.
