Goose Island’s The Illinois

Goose Island Beer Company has introduced The Illinois – the first of three new beers in the brand’s Imperial Series. Paying homage to “The Mile High Illinois,” a skyscraper designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1956 that was never built, the new offering is an Imperial India Pale Ale (IIPA) that is deep gold in color with a complex citrus aroma and a taste that is balanced with clean bitterness. At 9 percent ABV, The Illinois is available now for limited national distribution in four-packs of 12-ounce bottles.
