Fruit Center Marketplace Forms Partnership With Online Meal-planning Service
MILTON, Mass. -- The Fruit Center Marketplace, an independent grocery retailer based here, is now offering complimentary meal planning. Customers at the retailer's Milton or Hingham, Mass. stores will receive a promotional code for four free weeks of service from Modern Menus, an online meal-planning service that offers time-starved families simple and nutritious meal suggestions.
"We wanted to show our customers how much we appreciate their business, and what better way to thank them than by offering easy-to-prepare, healthful recipes, meal suggestions, and tools for balancing a diet?" says Fruit Center marketing director Michael Dwyer.
Each weekly menu shoppers receive is reviewed by Modern Menus' staff nutritionist, Robin Brett Wechsler, and accompanied by a customizable grocery list, cooking tips, and nutrition articles.
Explaining the need for such a service, Wechsler noted: "People enjoy eating delicious and nutritious foods, but often run out of ideas for meals or simply don't have the time it takes to plan a well-balanced diet."
Shoppers who want more information on the program can visit the Fruit Center Web site at www.fruitcentermarketplace.com or pick up the retailer's monthly newsletter in either of the company's stores.
