  • Big Y Promotes Michael D'Amour to V.P. of Fresh Foods

    SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Big Y Foods, Inc. here has promoted Michael P. D'Amour to the new position of v.p. of fresh foods, In his new role D'Amour handle all aspects of the produce, floral, deli, bakery, foodservice, seafood and meat departments at the regional chain. As well as developing a long-term fresh food strategy for Big Y, he will oversee all aspects related to these departments, including financials, training and development, merchandising, advertising, and links to operations. D'Amour will report to v.p. of sales Phillip J. Schneider.
