Farm Boy Recruits Noted Restaurateur

OTTAWA, Ont. -- Gourmet grocery chain Farm Boy, Inc., based here, today said that Robert Bourassa, former owner and executive chef for the recently shuttered Cafe Henry Burger French restaurant in Hull, Que., across the river from Ottawa, has joined Farm Boy to help further develop the retailer's private label brands and prepared foods. The new hire fits in with the Farm Boy's strategy of continued expansion in stores and services.

"His impressive experience, specifically in the development and advancement of gourmet cuisine within the Ottawa food industry, will complement the vision and focus of Farm Boy private label products, and more specifically the new Farm Boy Kitchen concept," noted Farm Boy's president Donny Milito.

Farm Boy currently operates eight stores in the greater Ottawa and Cornwall, Ont. regions.
