Deli Source Partners with Madison Lane

As per capita cheese consumption has grown year to year, according to USDA statistics, one Midwest cheese company is also growing its business with the help of specialty food brokerage Madison Lane Sales + Marketing.

The Portland, Ore.-based Madison Lane recently signed an agreement to sell cheese and cheese products from a cheese conversion and packaging company called The Deli Source, located in Antioch, Ill.

The agreement extends the reach of The Deli Source products into the Northwest, where the products will be sold in specialty retail grocery stores in Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Montana. In addition to its own brands, including Wilmot Farms, Heart of Dairyland and Delico Cheese Makers, The Deli Source also works with large and small companies to provide private label packaging. The company currently offers more than 300 SKUs, in fact, spanning loaves, cuts and wedges, hand-wrapped cuts, shingle-slice zipper packages, shredded and cubed chees and combinations.

Madison Lane has a strong presence in the Northwest, representing a variety of local, national and international products to both retail grocery and foodservice clients.
