D'Agostino Supermarkets Upgrades Website

D’Agostino Supermarkets has launched an enhanced consumer website at www.dagnyc.com, which now features such interactive tools for shoppers as the ability to search by department or brand, personalized specials tailored to customer preferences and previous shopping history, a recipe center that includes wine parings, online shopping from the weekly ad circular, and the ability to create a master shopping list and a record of previous orders.

The Larchmont, N.Y.-based grocer, which operates 18 stores in Manhattan and New York’s Westchester County, worked with Grocery Shopping Network (GSN) on the improved site, which has seen a big increase in traffic and online grocery orders, according to the companies.

“D’Agostino Supermarkets has a great presence in New York City and a longstanding reputation of serving local communities,” noted Andy Robinson, CEO of Minneapolis-based GSN, which connects consumers, retailers, and brands through content, advertising and software for retail websites. “Grocery Shopping Network aims to enhance D’Agostino’s current website with improved digital initiatives that serve shoppers on a one-on-one level.”

The new online capability additionally enables shoppers to schedule the delivery of groceries directly to their homes while taking advantage of all offered specials, savings and opportunities available in the stores.
