Coupon Conference to Cover Technology

The Association of Coupon Professionals (ACP) 2011 Industry Coupon Conference, scheduled for April 12 through April 14, 2011, in Atlanta, and hosted ACP in collaboration with the Food Marketing Institute (FMI), the Grocery Manufacturers Association (GMA), GS1 US, CIC and the Promotion Marketing Association (PMA), will feature information on the newest developments in technology relating to coupons.

“The conference is where industry leaders converge to learn and discuss the latest trends, research, and developments in traditional, digital and Internet print-at-home coupons,” said John Morgan, executive director of Drexel Hill, Pa.-based ACP, an industry association for marketing professionals who work or have interests in the consumer promotion business. The organization’s goals are to improve coupon industry business conditions, to foster the continuance of coupons as a valuable sales and marketing tool, and to provide a forum for education and the resolution of common industry concerns in the development, distribution, and redemption of coupons.

Matthew Tilley of Inmar and Andy Rumpelt of Kantar Media are serving as co-chairs of the Conference Planning Task Force.
