Corn Refiners Offer New Ed. Resources, Revamped Site

The Corn Refiners Association (CRA) is re-launching CornNaturally.com, an educational resource for business leaders regarding high fructose corn syrup (HFCS). The site features new graphics and extensive information about nutritional science and research, consumer attitudes and the manufacturing economics involving sweeteners.

“Our goal is to provide food and beverage manufacturers, as well as dairy processors, grocery retailers and restaurateurs, with a trusted source of information about HFCS. The site empowers decision-makers to develop effective sweetener strategies,” said Audrae Erickson, president, Corn Refiners Association. “Information and insights from prestigious third-party organizations, including Mintel Research Consultancy, The Nielsen Company, New England Consulting Group and The MSR Group, provide valuable insight into the challenges faced by the industries that our member companies serve.”

Designed with intuitive navigation, users can engage with the content to locate the information they need most. The site offers news releases, fact sheets, white papers and webinars for review. CornNaturally.com also aims to serve as a “one-stop shop” for information, including an interactive sweetener cost comparison tool.

“It is a destination that people can return to again and again and find new, authoritative and insightful thinking and content to inform their business decisions,” said Erickson. “The site will also be updated as new scientific research becomes available.”

The Corn Refiners Association, based in Washington, is the national trade association representing the corn refining (wet milling) industry of the United States.
