Coborn's to Deploy Agilence's Retail 20/20 to Improve Store Ops

Coborn's has unveiled plans to deploy Agilence Inc.'s Retail 20/20 exception reporting solution, in an effort to reduce shrink and improve store operations.

"We needed a solution that was dynamic enough to analyze our vast amounts of data, yet flexible enough to integrate with our different POS terminals," said Matt Larson, director of loss control & compliance for the St. Cloud, Minn.-based grocer. "As we continue to grow, Retail 20/20 will help us become a much more efficient organization, allowing us to concentrate more of our energy on business strategy."

Russ Hawkins, CEO of N.J.-based Agilence, noted that the tool aims to "provide Coborn's with the flexibility they have been looking for in a powerful solution that allows them to make informed decisions faster."

Earlier this month, Iowa-based Hy-Vee announced it had deployed the same solution to improve operations and reduce shrink.

Coborn's Inc. operates more than 120 retail locations in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin.
