CHEP Supports School Fundraiser

For the second year in a row, ‘allet and container pooling company CHEP lent its support to the Annual Pumpkin Patch at St. James Cathedral School in Orlando, Fla., providing pallets to display the pumpkins, and other help. The Pumpkin Patch, which was open through Oct. 30, 2011, is the Catholic grade school’s main fundraising activity to purchase new computers and offer specialty classes for students.

“At its core, CHEP is a community-focused company, and activities like this one are great examples of our efforts to be responsible corporate citizens,” noted Bill Pregliasco, SVP of market strategy at the Orlando-based company.

CHEP’s customer portfolio includes global companies and brands such as Procter & Gamble, Sysco, Kellogg's, Kraft, Nestlé, Ford and GM. The vendor is part of Sydney, Australia-based Brambles Ltd.
