A-B Ranked Tops Among Beer Companies

Anheuser-Busch InBev has ranked No. 1 among beer companies and No. 2 among beverage companies in Fortune magazine’s “World’s Most Admired Companies” list for 2011.

Using surveys of executives, board members and analysts in the beverage industry, A-B led the industry in product quality, social responsibility, global competitiveness and people management.

Among other categories, A-B ranked second for innovation, use of corporate assets, financial soundness and long-term investment, and fourth for quality of management.

Coca-Cola ranked first among overall beverage companies. A-B was ranked above other brewers including SABMiller, Heineken and Carlsberg.
