AWG Selects Rosie as e-Commerce Partner

Associated Wholesale Grocers (AWG) has partnered with Rosie, an online grocery shopping platform for web and mobile applications, to provide its members with customized e-commerce programs that can drive larger order sizes, attract new customers and strengthen consumer loyalty.

Rosie will work with AWG, the second largest retailer-owned cooperative in the United States, to meet the online shopping needs of the 3,000 AWG members in 26 states.

“Our goal is to provide our member retailers with access to strategic partners capable of helping our retailers compete in the changing grocery marketplace,” said Kate Favrow, corporate marketing manager, AWG.  The wholesaler felt Rosie’s offerings and evolving technology was the best fit for retailers like West’s Plaza Country Mart in Abilene, Kansas, the latest AWG member to implement an e-commerce program with Rosie.

“Rosie's platform is unique and relevant in that I can customize the service to provide an outstanding shopping experience for each of my customers. Their mobile apps and extensive experience give me confidence that my online shopping program will be successful,” said Chris West, owner of West’s Plaza Country Mart.
