Saif Khawaja is the founder and CEO of New York-based Shinkei Systems. He is a founding member of the National Fisheries Institute's Sushi Council and part of the Future Leaders program. He is a former commercial fishing deckhand, as well as a designer and engineer, with his past work exhibited and presented at the London Design Festival, MoMA and ICA Philadelphia. He studied at The Wharton School and the University of Pennsylvania’s graduate school of physics.
