Doug Thurston, VP of Sales, Cold Chain - Digital Solutions at St. Louis-based Emerson, has worked in the cold chain in various roles for a number of companies for the past 38 years, including as a procurement manager for Albertsons Cos. and as director of sales for Bolthouse Farms, before moving to his current role 12 years ago. Thurston and his team work closely with U.S. shippers, processors, carriers, foodservice providers, restaurant chains and grocery retailers to improve their cold chain practices.
