Associated Food Stores Banners Launch Digital Coupons

Associated Food Stores’ corporate banners Macey’s, Dan’s, Lin’s, Fresh Market and Dick’s Market have teamed up with Zavers by Google and Accelitec Inc. to provide relevant digital coupons to shoppers who belong to their respective loyalty programs.

Shoppers will be able to find and save digital coupons on their store’s website, and the saved digital coupons will be loaded into shoppers’ Perks or Plus account, and automatically applied when checking out at the store.

“We are excited for our guests to take advantage of our relationship with Zavers by Google and Accelitec,” said Jason Sokol, marketing director. “Combining the strength of Zavers and our Perks and Plus programs will allow our guests to be a part of the best technology in a grocery shopping experience.”

Perks and Plus members will have access to over 60 national brand coupons on a weekly basis. Shoppers can choose which digital coupons they like and load them directly into their Perks or Plus account through their Google account. Members will experience the benefit of this new program as they save money, save time by not having to clip and keep track of paper coupons, and have offers they want at their fingertips.

Members of the Perks or Plus program can take advantage of the digital coupons with three steps: Members should log into their account at the grocery store’s website and add their Google account information to their Perks or Plus account. Shoppers can then choose the coupons they want and save them to their electronic wallet. When the shopper purchases the item at Macey’s, Dan’s, Lin’s, Fresh Market or Dick’s Market, the discount will automatically deduct from the total bill.

Guests at these banners should expect to see national brand coupons, combined with additional store offers each week on the stores' websites.

Associated Retail Operations is a group of corporate stores owned by Associated Food Stores, an independent retailer-owned wholesaler based in Salt Lake City, which provides products and services to more than 400 grocers throughout the Intermountain West.
