Artizone Launches 'Farmers Market on Demand' Service

Upscale e-grocer Artizone Ltd. has introduced the Farmers Market on Demand service, through which artisanal produce items, dairy, seafood, breads, meats, artisanal jarred goods and condiments are delivered straight to Chicagoland customers' doors.

For a flat delivery fee of $5.95, the service will be available from 10 a.m. throughout the day, with two-hour delivery windows.

In collaboration with its artisan suppliers, Artizone is offering exclusive Goodness Greeness organic produce boxes, as well as hand-milled bread with locally produced wheat from Pleasant House Bakery, and high-quality meats from TJ's Poultry, Mint Creek Farm and Red Meat Market.

"This is an exciting moment for Artizone as we bring everything together: technology, operational excellence and the love of food, to provide our customers with this unrivaled service," noted COO Lior Lavy. "Our strong artisan connections have enabled us to create a solid roster of artisan products that customers really need and want. We now can expedite fresh foodstuffs from the farmers markets, swiftly and directly into homes."

Operating in Chicago and Dallas, Artizone currently serves more than 10,000 homes and sources its products from nearly 250 specialty local shops in Chicago, Dallas and Denver, among them local butchers, fish mongers, cheese purveyors, farmers and bakers.
