Aldi Nord Deploys SAP for Retail Solution Portfolio

Aldi Nord has selected the SAP for Retail solution portfolio to support its dynamic growth and modernize its retailing, as well as achieve greater transparency in its goods transactions.

The standard enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution will replace the company’s previous in-house system and will be used to manage retail processes at all company locations, from orders and warehouse management to store deliveries.

SAP for Retail is designed to increase transparency in flows of goods and finances from the vendor to the customer. Aldi Nord expects the solution to enable it and its stores to achieve a number of long-term benefits, such as requiring less time to provide its regional subsidiaries with extensive business reports.

Aldi Nord is now implementing the solution and aligning its business processes with the standards of SAP for Retail.
