2 Giant-Landover Pharmacies Now Open 24 Hours

Giant Food LLC has opened two of its in-store pharmacies, in Catonsville and Bethesda, Md., 24 hours a day.

“The health and wellness of our customers is a priority in all that we do,” said Gayle Shields, director of pharmacy operations at Giant Food, a division of Ahold USA, noting that “the Catonsville and Bethesda communities” now have “continuous access to the dedicated associates in our full-service pharmacies.”

Giant Food operates 171 supermarkets in Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and the District of Columbia, and employs about 20,000 associates. Included within the 171 stores are 155 full-service pharmacies.
