Winn-Dixie, Saints Roll Out Tailgate Sweepstakes
Winn-Dixie Stores Inc. and the New Orleans Saints have introduced the “Tailgate with the Saints” sweepstakes, which will hand out 10 4-packs of tickets for each Saints home game, as well as a private pre-game tailgate party. Jacksonville, Fla.-based Winn-Dixie and Coca-Cola are co-sponsors of the promotion.
Additionally, one of the sweepstakes winners will be chosen by random drawing to take part in the Coca-Cola Zero Cash Catch at halftime, in which the fan has the chance to win a pair of season tickets to Saints home games during the 2012 season, Coca-Cola products, $500 in Winn-Dixie gift cards and $1,000 cash.
“Nobody else has served Louisiana longer or supported our team and its fans as Winn-Dixie has,” said Joey Medina, regional VP at Winn-Dixie, which is known as “the official grocery store of the Saints.” “Our Customer Reward Card is [shoppers’] ticket for savings at the store, at the gas pump, and it’s also the way to win free Saints tickets.”
Winn-Dixie customers who use their Customer Reward Cards to buy any two specially designated tailgating items advertised each week are automatically entered in the sweepstakes. Winners will be selected in a random drawing from all entries at the 61 Winn-Dixie stores in Louisiana and Mississippi, the week before each home game. Winn-Dixie operates about 480 grocery stores in Florida, Alabama, Louisiana, Georgia and Mississippi.
