Winn-Dixie Rolls Out Comprehensive Rx Program
Winn-Dixie has launched in all of its pharmacies a prescription-savings program providing deep discounts on more than 400 generic medications, as well as varied discounts on name-brand and other generic drugs.
“Not everyone has insurance or health benefits that adequately cover prescriptions,” explained John Fegan, VP of pharmacy for Jacksonville, Fla.-based Winn-Dixie. “This program makes it easier for our customers to get the prescriptions they need at a great deal, so they can focus on their health … not on how much it costs.”
For an annual enrollment fee of $5, customers with an active Winn-Dixie Reward Card will receive such program benefits as a $5 store coupon automatically loaded to the customer’s card; $4 30-day and $10 90-day generic drug pricing on a list of more than 400 generic drugs, along with discounts on name-brand and all other generic medications; and ongoing promotions and specials.
Customers with or without a Reward Card can sign up for the prescription program at any Winn-Dixie customer service counter.
