Winn-Dixie Gets Sweet on Shoppers for Valentine's Day
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- In a yearly ritual for the regional retailer, Winn-Dixie is offering special services to help customers spend less time shopping for the perfect Valentine's Day gift.
Winn-Dixie floral departments are offering bouquets of a dozen roses in a variety of colors, with a free vase and gift bag for only $21.99. Customers also will find a section of romantic cards, candy, special gifts, and gift cards for dozens of prominent retailers for valentines of all ages.
To expedite the shopping process, Winn-Dixie's special "Valentine Express Lane" checkout registers will be devoted to customers purchasing Valentine's Day items. The "Valentine Express Lane" is located closest to the floral department and is open from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m., Feb. 12 through 14.
A Winn-Dixie flower-wrapping station will provide wraps, bows, balloons, enclosure cards, and other Valentine embellishments to accent floral gifts. The wrapping stations will be located in the store lobby, operating 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Feb. 11, and 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. Feb. 12 through 14.
Winn-Dixie is also promoting its extensive line of gift cards as a perfect Valentine's Day gift.
