Winn-Dixie to Expand Online and Mobile Media Channels

Winn-Dixie Stores, Inc. tapped online services vendor MyWebGrocer to assist the grocer in the deployment of its digital marketing programs.

As part of this plan, MyWebGrocer will develop an integrated solution that includes a web-based interactive circular, store locator, online shopping list, and online advertising and revenue sharing platform.

“As part of Winn-Dixie’s digital marketing solution, we sought out a vendor partner who would provide the best customer experience for interactive ad circulars, integrated shopping lists and recipes, and a host of other product offerings,” said Mary Kellmanson, Winn-Dixie’s group VP of marketing. “We see this as an opportunity to deliver a better solution for our customers by saving them time and helping them quickly locate savings throughout the store.”

MyWebGrocer seeks to drive digital connections between consumers, grocery retailers, and CPG brands by creating and managing digital solutions for clients including websites, digital media, online circulars, email marketing initiatives, mobile applications, social media strategies, and customer acquisition programs. The vendor works with more than 100 retailers nationally, and represents more than 10,100 stores.

Jacksonville, Fla.-based Winn-Dixie operates 485 retail grocery locations, including 379 in-store pharmacies, in Florida, Alabama, Louisiana, Georgia, and Mississippi.
