Winn-Dixie Cashier Charged with Credit Card Theft
ORMOND BEACH, Fla. -- An 18-year-old cashier at a Winn-Dixie supermarket here was arrested and charged with grand theft after she allegedly charged $810.20 on a customer's credit card, according to local reports.
The supermarket's store manager was alerted to the problem after the victim of the crime noticed several unauthorized charges on his account.
The suspect reportedly made eight purchases and received $100 cash back per transaction. Bond was set at $1,000.
