WinCo Foods Deploys Mobile In-Store Navigation Service
WinCo Foods has deployed a new mobile app that functions as an in-store navigation service to help shoppers find products in the store while walking the aisles.
The grocer worked with St. Louis-based aisle411 on the solution, which is available in all of its 79 stores. "As more shoppers embrace mobile technology to find products in stores, find deals and expedite their shopping trip, WinCo Foods is leading the charge to deliver optimal shopping experiences to its customers by deploying the aisle411 navigation platform in its stores," said Nathan Pettyjohn, CEO, aisle411.
aisle411 empowers anyone with a mobile phone to find products and promotions quickly and easily in retail stores. With the aisle411 App, users can instantly locate products in stores down to the specific section of the aisle, manage shopping lists, share experiences with friends via social media integration, and find mobile coupons. With intuitive voice recognition technology powered by Nuance, aisle411 offers a unique in-store search and comprehensive mobile retail shopping solution.
The aisle411 App is available for free from the iPhone App Store or from http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/aisle411/id394218369?mt=8. Android support is coming later this year.
