Web Grocer Aspen Grove Market Logs 200% Sales Growth in Year One

BOULDER, Colo. - Online grocer Aspen Grove Market said Friday that its sales had grown 200 percent in its first year of operation.

"Customer loyalty is key to our success, and providing outstanding, remarkable customer service everyday has been one way that we've stood out in the local competitive crowd," said Mike Ruth, v.p.

To date, AGM has registered more than 2,800 customers, according to the retailer. "Thanks to strong customer support, we have experienced significant growth in our first year of business," sais Brian Chrisman, president. "By expanding our product offering and continuing to improve the online shopping experience, we expect strong growth to continue in the coming year."

The online grocer declared launched a promotion to celebrate its first-year progress declaring March Customer Appreciation Month and offering customers a one-time $10 credit for any customer who makes a $99 purchase within the month, and a $30 credit for any customer who spends $299 within the month. The promotions run until March 31st and are available to every customer who shops with AGM in March.

Aspen Grove Market opened for business in February, 2006, serving the greater Boulder area with online grocery shopping and home delivery of a full line of groceries, including selections of natural, organic, local, and conventional products, which are conveniently access by a series of drop-down menus. Shoppers first select the department, then choose from a selection of the department's categories, then a click on an item from the shelf menu brings up a selection of products on the page.
