Walmart’s Race-y Promo

As the Phoenix International Raceway prepares for the upcoming AdvoCare 500 on Nov. 11, select Walmart stores in the Phoenix metropolitan area will host exclusive fan events starting Nov. 7 continuing through Nov. 10.

NASCAR drivers including Hefty's Nationwide driver Eric McClure, Unilever's driver Cole Whitt, 5-hour Energy's driver Michael Waltrip, and Kellogg's Greg Biffle are scheduled to make appearances at Phoenix area Walmart stores Nov. 8.

Customers are invited to enjoy racing cars and simulator displays. NASCAR fans can get behind the wheel from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., depending on the Walmart location.

"Walmart is the champion of the racing fan, and we are committed to providing customers with savings on authentic merchandise, as well as unique race time experiences," said Scott Dilyard, Walmart market manager. "We want to give fans affordability and accessibility, so they can enjoy race time with their families and friends."

In addition to the fan events happening in Walmart parking lots, area stores will feature savings on popular snacks, plus authentic NASCAR merchandise such as T-shirts and racing flags.
