Walmart Offering Unique Monster Jam Experiences

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and Monster Jam, an entertainment property of Aurora, Ill.-based Feld Motor Sports, are providing fans with plenty special treats, including specially priced family 4-packs of tickets to Monster Jam events in 70-plus markets. Additionally, select Walmart store parking lots will host such popular Monster Jam trucks as Grave Digger, Max-D and Team Hot Wheels Firestorm, and customers will be able to get driver autographs while also purchasing items from in-store Monster Jam merchandise pallets. The truck display events will run through March.

“The entertainment program developed between Monster Jam, the largest touring motor sports property in the world, and Walmart is designed to provide access to the millions of Walmart shoppers in their hometowns,” explained Feld Motor Sports COO Ken Hudgens. “This program is unprecedented and will touch more than 70 unique markets, and over 1,000 stores, across the country over the next 90 days. The officially licensed Monster Jam merchandise, family 4-pack ticket offers, and on-site Monster Jam truck displays will make this Walmart program a tremendous value for our fans.”

Bentonville, Ark.-based Walmart already carries the largest selection of officially licensed Monster Jam merchandise, including toys, video games, bedding, apparel and even birthday cakes. The new collaboration brings with it new Monster Jam products that will complement the current product assortment at Walmart locations nationwide. For instance, shoppers will now be able to buy 2013 Hot Wheels Monster Jam die-cast vehicles and playsets; men’s and boys’ T-shirts; and exclusive officially licensed Monster Jam souvenir items available only at the mega-retailer.

The ticket packages are available in the electronics aisle at participating Walmart Ticketmaster retail locations or purchased online.
