Wal-Mart, CVS, Walgreens Added to ScriptSave's Nationwide Pharmacy Network

BENTONVILLE, Ark. -- Wal-Mart, and drug store chains CVS and Walgreens, are new members of the ScriptSave pharmacy network.

ScriptSave, a Tucson, Ariz.-based provider of prescription drug discount programs, said yesterday that the additions have been its system one of the country's biggest pharmacy networks. The network also includes such major retail chains as Kroger Pharmacy, Kmart, Target, Albertsons, Safeway, Winn-Dixie, and Publix. It allows more than 12 million cardholders to easily access participating local pharmacies, to reduce out-of-pocket prescription drug costs.

"We are continually expanding our pharmacy network to accommodate our cardholders' needs," noted ScriptSave c.e.o. and president Lori Bryant in a statement. "In today's fast-paced environment, our cardholders want the ability to use their ScriptSave card near their home or office and when they travel. The addition of these national chains enhances our ability to ensure that our cardholders have convenient access to participating pharmacies throughout the country."
