Wakefern's Colalillo to Keynote NEW Event
ELIZABETH, N.J. -- Joseph Colalillo, chairman and c.e.o. for Wakefern Food Corp. here will be the keynote speaker of the Network of Executive Women New York Metro Group's winter event on tap for later this month.
Colalillo, who is also the owner and president of the three-store ShopRite of Hunterdon County, will address the group on Thurs., January 24, at the Sheraton Meadowlands, East Rutherford, N.J.
Colalillo was named chairman and c.e.o. of Wakefern in May 2005 after having served as the company's vice chairman for more than six years. He has been a member of Wakefern's board of directors since 1985, and serves on a number of Wakefern committees.
In addition to his role at Wakefern, Colalillo is The Food Marketing Institute's vice chairman of and also chairs the Washington, D.C.-based trade association's Independent Operator Advisory Board, as well as serving as a member of its finance and long range planning committees.
