Upromise Introduces Revamped Web Site

NEWTON, Mass. -- Upromise, Inc. said yesterday that it has reached a record 8 million members, and has unveiled a redesigned Web site that will help consumers of any age achieve the goal of higher education for themselves, a family member, or a close friend.

The new site includes an easy-to-use design and new content created and categorized specifically for parents, students, family, and friends, covering such topics as earning rewards, saving money, planning, and paying for education, said Upromise, the country's largest private source of college aid.

Upromise.com now offers a new resource center that covers topics ranging from calculating college costs, to tips for preparing, earning rewards, saving, and paying for college. The site's member version also features a "my homepage" where members can view recent transactions and a summary of their rewards.

Upromise said it has also improved navigation, enabling members to have a customized shopping experience that provides a quick way to find partners and other relevant information.
