United Supermarkets Hires Facilities Dept. Head
Doug Pellock has joined United Supermarkets, LLC, as director of facility support and development. Pellock’s over 20 years of industry experience includes ownership of his own commercial construction company and 10 years as director of construction for Life Time Fitness.
“His experience with budgeting and processes will help improve the level of cost-effective support as we try to drive costs down and improve our support of all facilities,” noted Tony Crumpton, EVP of strategic development at Lubbock, Texas-based United.
A self-distributing company, family-owned United operates 50 stores under three distinct formats — United Supermarkets, Market Street and Amigos United — in 30 markets across north and west Texas.
