Unilever Recruits New CFO from General Mills

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J. -- Unilever said yesterday it appointed James A. Lawrence as chief financial officer, replacing Rudy Markham.

Lawrence, vice chairman and c.f.o. of General Mills, will leave that company to join Unilever in September.

Lawrence previously worked at Northwest Airlines as e.v.p. and c.f.o., and proior to that was president for Pepsi-Cola in Asia Middle East and Africa.
