Tyson’s Movie Tie-in Prizes to Rain Down Like ‘Cats & Dogs’

Tyson Foods and Warner Bros. will launch a summer promotion timed to coincide with the July 20 theatrical release of the 3-D family film “Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore.” The campaign offers savings on Tyson Chicken Tenders, as well as an online sweepstakes featuring thousands of prizes.

The grand-prize winner, who will be selected through a random drawing, will receive an expenses-paid five-day, four-night trip for four to Los Angeles and a VIP tour of Warner Bros. Studios, courtesy of Funjet vacations and the Sheraton Universal Hotel. One-time registration at TysonMovieTickets.com enters consumers into the grand-prize drawing. Once registered, they can log on daily for the chance to win one of thousands of movie tickets.

“Tyson Chicken Tenders and summertime movies are both great choices for families on the go,” said Eric LeBlanc, director of sales development at Springdale, Ark.-based Tyson. “No-hassle summer meals are perfect for nights when families are heading out to the theater to see ‘Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore.’”

Presented by Warner Bros. Pictures in association with Village Roadshow Pictures, a Mad Chance/Polymorphic Pictures Production, “Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore” stars Christina Applegate, Michael Clarke Duncan, Neil Patrick Harris, Sean Hayes, James Marsden, Bette Midler, Nick Nolte, Joe Pantoliano, Katt Williams, Chris O’Donnell, Jack McBrayer, Fred Armisen and Paul Rodriguez. The PG-rated film blends live action with cutting-edge puppetry and computer animation to tell the story of how both sets of furry pets must work together to save themselves and their humans from the threat of rogue feline spy Kitty Galore, who is bent on world domination.
