Tyson Hits the Road This Summer

Tyson Foods Inc.’s latest summer promotion features savings on family-friendly Tyson Chicken Tenders available at in-store delis, Knorr Sides and Bounty Napkins, as well as a $5 gas mail-in rebate to help families get around. Consumers receive the rebate with the purchase of Tyson Chicken Tenders and gasoline from any fuel station, with a minimum $5 gas purchase. The promotion will run online and in stores from May 28 through Aug. 24.

“Tasty Getaway” gives consumers four ways to save on food, cleanup and fuel: They can redeem in-store coupons good for $1 on 1 pound or more of Tyson Chicken Tenders, $1 on any three Knorr Sides and $1 on any size package of Bounty Napkins. Additionally, participants can earn a $5 gas rebate with proof of purchase of chicken tenders plus gas from any gas station and a completed mail-in rebate form.

“The Tasty Getaway promotion pairs three popular products for a quick and easy family road trip this summer,” noted Sally Ashcraft, brand manager for Tyson Deli Division in Springdale, Ark. “It also helps take the sting out of rising gas prices with a fuel rebate, making a getaway more affordable.”

The promotion will be featured on Tyson’s DeliAnytime.com site, along with easy summer recipes that kids can help prepare. Shoppers can scan an in-store QR code on their smartphones to access the summer cooking activities. Tasty Getaway will be supported on the DeliAnytime Facebook page, where consumers can click “like” and register to download the mail-in gas rebate form.
