Tree of Life Raises $157,000 for American Red Cross Hurricane Relief
ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- Specialty and organics food distributor Tree of Life, Inc. here, with the help of its associates, has donated in excess of $157,000 to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.
As a Florida-based business, many Tree of Life associates have personally experienced the impact of these devastating natural disasters, the company said. By the end of the fund-raising effort, Tree of Life associates nationwide had significantly surpassed a challenge posed by Alec Covington, president & c.e.o., raising a grand total of $157,234 for the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. Additional funds were raised and donated to the Humane Society Relief Fund to support the rescue and rehabilitation of displaced pets.
