Tree of Life Names Merchandising S.v.p.

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - Leading specialty distributor Tree of Life, Inc. has named Rick Moller s.v.p. of merchandising, giving him responsibility for all facets of category management and the company's buying activities. Moller, who formerly served as corporate v.p. of merchandising for natural foods, will report to president David Humphrey. He replaces Frank Patrick, who has left the company.

Concurrent with the change, Tree of Life announced that its corporate merchandising department has been further restructured and de-layered to include the elimination of the former v.p. for natural foods and v.p. of specialty foods positions.

"Rick's more than 25 years in key purchasing and merchandising management positions and his industry reputation for intelligence and integrity qualifies him well for the important role of senior vice president of merchandising for Tree of Life," said Humphrey.

Moller joined Tree of Life in 1986 as director of purchasing through the acquisition of Balanced Foods. During his tenure with Tree of Life, he has held several key positions.

Tree of Life, Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Royal Wessanen, NV.
