Tesco Lotus Adds to HR Automation Tools
BANGKOK, Thailand -- U.K.-based Tesco's Thailand division, Tesco Lotus, said it plans to expand its workforce automation tools to include labor scheduling software, category management, profit optimization, and computer assisted ordering tools for its foodservice operations.
These new tools, from existing technology partner Park City Group, Park City, Utah, will be installed with the goal of allowing Tesco Lotus to improve field ownership of its production plans and expand its assortment plan execution on a store-by-store basis. Additionally, Tesco Lotus expects the computer assisted ordering to help manage the availability of raw materials in support of its merchandising plans. For store managers, Park City Group's labor scheduling tools will optimize the allocation of labor.
Tesco Lotus also contracted with Park City Group for professional services which includes category management and labor utilization analysis, operational performance analysis, and profit optimization recommendations. This contract will extend over the coming year.
