Tennessee Man Wins Tyson 'King of the Grill' Recipe Contest

SPRINGDALE, Ark. -- A recipe featuring Tyson Pork Loin Country Style Ribs has been selected grand prizewinner of the first-ever "King of the Grill" recipe contest sponsored by Tyson Foods here.

The winning recipe, submitted by L.C. Norman of Milton, Tenn., is called "Coffee Bean & Star Anise 'Rubbed' Ribs with Asian Glaze." It was one of hundreds of entries in the competition. G. Garvin, one of the nation's top celebrity chefs and host of the TV show "Turn Up the Heat with G. Garvin" on TV One, judged the top five entries.

Winning recipes were chosen for their creative use of Tyson meat protein products based on taste, appearance, originality, and ease of preparation.
