Tastykake Forms Marketing Alliance with Sports Talk Radio Station
PHILADELPHIA -- Tasty Baking Co. here inked a multi-year, multiple platform marketing partnership with Sportsradio 610 WIP, the Delaware Valley's round-the-clock sports talk radio station, that includes naming rights of the station's studios, radio advertising, Tastykake promotions with WIP talent, in-studio signage, and online advertising.
At the top of each hour seven days a week, WIP personalities will remind devoted listeners that the station broadcasts "live from the Tastykake studios."
Tasty Baking also unveiled a new marketing initiative with Philadelphia Phillies' second baseman Chase Utley in an exclusive promotion for Wawa, Inc.
Beginning July this week, Tastykake consumers will have the opportunity to win a personal "meet and greet" with Utley, plus four tickets to an upcoming Philadelphia game. Runner-up prizes include Wawa gift cards and Minor League Baseball ticket packages.
