Since tarts can be time-consuming to bake and decorate, The French Patisserie baking company, based in Pacifica, Calif., is offering a line of ready-to-bake tarts targeting consumers, deli counters and bakery owners. Made with a pâate sucrée shell and crammed with a variety of fruits and fillings, the tarts come in bakeable cardboard pan. Varieties include Cherry Clafoutis, Apple Spice, Pear Chocolate and Apricot Hazelnut, as well as a ready-to-fill tart.
