Target Renews Contract with ACNielsen
SCHAUMBURG, Ill. - ACNielsen U.S., an operating unit of ACNielsen, a VNU company, today announced the renewal of its information-sharing contract with Target Corporation. Under the new agreement, Target will use ACNielsen's Category Business Planner (CBP), the only category management tool in the consumer packaged goods industry to provide sales information based on each retailer's unique category definitions.
"We feel that Category Business Planner will help simplify the Category Management process," said Matt Bisciglia of Target Corporation. "It will provide merchants faster and easier access to the information that drives their business."
Other retailers that have announced plans to use ACNielsen?s Category Business Planner include Meijer, Supervalu, Walgreens, Hannaford Bros., CVS, Eckerd, Longs Drug Stores, Winn-Dixie, Ahold USA, and H-E-B.
