Target Kicks Off Integrated Hispanic Heritage Campaign
Target has kicked off a Hispanic heritage celebration aimed at encouraging people to "dream in color," outside of the confines of black and white. As part of the effort, Target is recognizing Hispanic innovators who inspire others to follow their dreams through video and educational online content.
The campaign, which will run through the balance of the year, will spotlight music producer Emilio Estefan, designer Sami Hayek, actor Tony Plana and celebrity stylist Irma Martinez, among others. Target selected these individuals because of their ability to inspire greatness in others by leading through example and proving that all things are possible if you just believe.
In addition to celebrities and designers of Hispanic origin, the Minneapolis-based Target, which runs 1,648 stores in 47 states, earlier this year partnered with Debbie Allen, Kwaku Alston, Irene Hirano, Iman, John Legend, Holly Robinson Peete, Joy Gryson, and Sylvia Woods to share their Dream in Color stories.
