Target Introduces Prepaid Photo Card
MINNEAPOLIS -- Target launched a prepaid photo card that it said will provide an additional convenience to guests, and allow them to save up to 20 percent on photofinishing services.
In a statement, the discounter said the program is "perfect for everyone from the avid photographer, who is always developing film, to the new mother who is quickly stockpiling pictures of precious baby moments."
Target said its guests can purchase a Prepaid Photo Card at five price levels, ranging from $100 photo card at 20 percent discount, to a $10 photo card with no discount.
The prepaid photo cards offer savings on photofinishing services including digital prints, film development, photo enlargements, photo gifts and photo greeting cards. There also are no restrictions regarding the number of prints or types of prints that apply to the discount.
The cards, which are located in the photofinishing and electronics departments, can also be applied to photofinishing purchases in the photo lab or at the general merchandise checkout lanes.
Target operates 1,494 stores in 47 states nationwide.
