The first disposable razor to use 100 percent recycled plastic in the production of its handle and 100 percent post-consumer paper in its packaging, the Schick Xtreme3 Eco razor will save more than 103,000 pounds of virgin plastic material and 15,500 pounds of virgin paper from going into landfills each year, according to Shelton, Conn.-based Energizer Personal Care. A 4-pack of either men’s or women’s razors retails for a suggested $7.99, with national distribution set for April, also known as Earth Month.
