Supervalu's TLC Taps Westermann as President
Pete Westermann, former c.o.o. since 2006, has been named president of Holland, Mich.-based Total Logistic Control (TLC), the third party logistics unit of Supervalu Inc.
Bringing over 20 years of industry leadership experience to his new role, Westermann replaces Bob Koerner, the company's long-serving president who announced his retirement in February.
Westermann was president and c.e.o. of Universal Solutions, a leading third-party logistics provider. He has also held leadership positions at UPS Supply Chain Solutions, Livingston Healthcare, Cardinal Health, and McKesson Drug Co.
Focused on the CPG/retail sectors, TLC delivers source-to-shelf supply chain solutions for some of the industry's largest companies, inclusive of implementing distribution, transportation, contract logistics, packaging, procurement, and supply chain engineering solutions.
