Sunlight International Dresses up Produce Aisles

Sunlight International has made its Harvest Hobgoblin brand of Premium California Table Grapes available now through Oct. 31 in the U.S. and Canada.

Available in red, green and blue-black varietals, the grapes come equipped with stand-up colander bags for ease of display in Sunlight’s matching point-of-sales bins. Additional POS materials provided to retailers include display cards, posters and shelf hangers.

“The Hobgoblin program is a fall-themed Halloween sales driver using varietals packed fresh during the peak of our harvest,” said Nick Dulcich, owner of Delano, Calif.-based Sunlight International. “The graphics we use are so fun, and my intent was to appeal to children, as well as their mothers. I wanted to bring the joy and excitement of Halloween to the produce department.”

The Harvest Hobgoblin bags feature QR codes that deliver Halloween recipe demonstrations. All of Sunlight’s packaging is recyclable and easily reusable with its zip lock seal technology, while the grab-and-go carrying handle and colander feature provide consumer convenience.

Sunlight International is a progressive packer and shipper of Premium California Table Grapes and a finalist in the Produce Marketing Association’s (PMA) 2012 Impact Award for its new Pretty Lady for the Summer bags. The company will also be recognized during the PMA Fresh Summit in October.
