Strack and Van Til to Leverage Vendor Managed Inventory
Regional independent grocer Strack and Van Til, a Highland, Ind.-based grocery retailer with more than a dozen stores spanning Illinois and Indiana, plans to install new software in an effort to capture, manage, analyze and share critical data with its partners, bringing greater visibility throughout the supply chain.
The grocer will use Park City Group’s Consumer Driven Sales Optimization (CDSO) solution, which the Park City, Utah-based vendor developed to help retailers build a new strategy around vendor-managed inventory, freeing up cash for the retailer and giving the vendor a vested interest in the performance of their goods.
