Stop & Shop Rolls Out 'Bean' Shopping Carts
QUINCY, Mass. - The Stop & Shop Supermarket company is rolling out McCue "Bean" shopping carts, carriages designed specifically for shoppers with children, in its stores for the next two to three months.
Stop & Shop said it received positive customer response in three test locations and began the chain-wide rollout earlier this month.
Bean shopping carriages are designed as children's cars and feature two steering wheels and enough space for two children to sit comfortably in the car cabin. The carts offer bin space for a week's worth of groceries.
